Ingredients:
- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup of white sugar
- 2/3 cup of Limoncello liqueur
- 1 1/4 cups of mascarpone cheese
- 1 3/4 cups of heavy cream
- 24 ladyfingers
- 1 cup of lemon curd
- 1/4 cup of lemon zest
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks and white sugar until they are light and fluffy.
2. Add the Limoncello liqueur to the bowl and mix until well combined.
3. Add the mascarpone cheese to the bowl and mix until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
5. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
6. Dip the ladyfingers into the lemon curd and arrange them in a single layer in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
7. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
8. Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
9. Sprinkle the lemon zest over the top of the tiramisu.
10. Chill the Limoncello Tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
11. Dust the top of the tiramisu with powdered sugar before serving.
